BVW Round 4 “My Last 6 Braincells”
For our final round, we were given almost three weeks to create a game worthy of the end-of-semester ETC Festival. The goal was to be able to have lots of people play as quickly as possible as the expected attendance was 400+ community members.
After months of non-stop game-jame-like hustle, my team felt like it was on its last 6 brain cells which ended up being the inspiration for our game. We wanted a lot of people to be able to play and work together to match the brain cells in the order of incoming tasks.
It made it past a jury that decided what games would get showcased at the festival and we got to watch hundreds of people friends and strangers gather around and play our final BVW world.
Game Synopsis: You are a brain cell and a cell can only complete one function at a time, work together with your fellow cells to complete tasks being asked of you as they come to you. On a conveyor-belt-like setting, tasks will emerge and you must reorder yourselves to complete the upcoming challenges.
